Overcoming Addiction’s

Addiction’s are the wrong way to numb pain, sadness, hurt, trauma,
and to hide fear – low self esteem issues on the inside.

• Alcohol, Coffee, Energy Drink’s
• Gambling
• Drugs\Guns
• Gluttony, overeating
• Music/Movies
• Pornography
• Self hate
• Fornication

The devil uses addictions to keep us Chained in bondage.

devil = Chains, Bondage, Captivity, Shame, Torment, Sadness,

GOD – Jesus -Holy Spirit = Love, Peace, Happiness, Free Will

The first step to overcoming any addiction is to cry out to Jesus to save you. The flesh is weak and only Jesus can give us the strength to overcome them.

Prayer is the only thing that can break the chains of bondage from addiction.

LIGHT CANNOT EXIST IN DARKNESS

• Get rid of the Darkness – Call out to Jesus and he will break the chains – the Holy Spirit will guide you and become stronger with everything you remove that is Dark

• My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

PUT GOD FIRST –  (BEST Decision Of Your Life)

•Above Everything else

•Family, Friends

•Money

•Job

PRAY

A. First thing when you wake up, throughout the day, and before you go to bed – thank GOD for all the blessings you have big and small (food, transportation, shelter, friends, family, etc.)

B. Repent of your sins – (The Holy Spirit guided me to reach out to people from the past and ask for forgiveness-apologize. It released something)

a. Forgive your enemies and pray for them

C.Take your problems to GOD in the name of Jesus

a. Jesus is the Shepard, and the shepherd carries the burdens not the sheep (Cast your worries and problems to GOD)

LET GO OF CONTROL  

•We want to be in battles; and we think were in control

• GOD is in control which is the best thing ever once you realize to let go of control

• GOD will fight your battles, GOD is stronger than anything on earth and he will release the burden if you give up control to him (was extremely hard for me to learn and I still struggle but the Holy Spirit reminds me)
